Does the pirate box support data replication?

Hi Pirates,
I'm looking at creating a couple of these but I'm wondering if the pirate boxes are able to replicate automatically to devices nearby in order to have a fully distributed network as well as redundancy for offline messaging?

no, there is no complete data replication currently.
The mesh feature is not working in PirateBox 1.0

If it is only about data replication, you should try librarybox.us , which is a fork of PirateBox and developed a sort of features through kickstarter (and gives the stuff back to us).
They implemented a sort of hierarchical sync (master -> client)

But having a forum/chatbox replication across different boxes, that isn't possible
