Can a non-software guy get this amazing thing to work?

Hi everyone,

Another "noob" here to add to the growing number! As this is my very first post on this excellent forum I'll be brief with my question:

Although I am a telecoms hardware systems engineer by profession, and I am familiar with the use and installation of software and firmware on PC's, single-board computers, I haven't got a clue how to write software code or use command line instructions, etc. So, in the light of these shortcomings, do people here think I would still be able to get my own Piratebox working successfully? Or would it be a struggle not understanding what makes a PB tick..?
