continuous usage

How long does the box operate until it 'goes to sleep'? I'm wondering because it seems like whenever I first plug in the box everything seems to work fine, but after a couple of hours I am unable to upload, download is fine just no upload.

Sorry I guess I should have specified, I'm using the mr3020 with piratebox 1.0. I'm accessing the box using my smart phone(samsung note3), sometimes I'll use Google Chrome but I mostly use the browser that came with it originally as this seems to be less quirky when I load it up the home page. Thanks for any insight or suggestions you may have.
