So turns out the WD Passport Wireless has built in SSH with root. It also has built in dnsmasq, hostapd, lighttpd and Python.

Put all of this together and bam. Consumer piratebox.

It's kinda expensive ($180 [www.amazon.com] ) but I bought one for the SD card slot (bit of a photographer) and decided to play with it.

So yeah. 1TB piratebox with minimal effort in a very small package.
