does anyone know if there is a flash drive size limit on the 3040?

Hi,
the problem is the filesystem on the usb stick/flash drive. You need to run the FAT filesystem, which can be formatted (using a Windows computer) only to a max of 32GB.

Don't despair. I was able to format in fat an HD of 1TB in FAT 32 using ubuntu. My memory is a bit fuzzy right now bit look into it on the internet and you are good to go. Just don't try it on windows using third pary apps because you will most likely install malaware
