Self sustaining piratebox?

I imagine to create one I would need a battery and solar panel
Can any of you hardware guys suggest a set-up as i wouldn't know exactly what to look for?

Also is their anyway to set openwrt / PB firmware to reboot every 12 or 24 hours automatically?
I find that leaving mine running for more than 24-36 without reboot cause the connection to fail.

well, you can create sort of a crontab entry in /etc/crontab for that auto reboot.

but I'm more interested why the box doesn't respond any longer. Can you try to access it via a static IP and give me the output of the commands listed here
