I've been using a Firefox OS phone (a Geeksphone Peak) as my everyday phone for almost 2 months now. I wanted a way to share files with my PirateBox, but Firefox OS currently doesn't support <input type="file">, so I couldn't do this with the standard web UI.
So I made an app, called PirateFox, which you can grab from GitHub at:
https://github.com/reinvented/piratefox
It only supports Firefox OS right now, but others might look at the code for an example of how to POST a file to a PirateBox programatically.
