Scenario:
100s of people in a large hall, all with their personal smartphone and earpiece, all simultaneously and wirelessly connected to any one of six different live audio streams being produced simultaneously by one of six different translators who are all broadcasting from their own individual PirateBox.
Too confusing?
Think ... multi-lingual conference/UN/church/NGO meeting needing multiple simultaneous translation. FM radio rules too constrictive here. Have seen something similar using regular internet but the lag was terrible. One group laughing 30 seconds after another at the same joke. Weird. Looking for an alternative. Read some of the FAQs and similar posts and I'm starting to be encouraged. But, I'm a newbie (did you guess?)
1. Do you think it's possible with PirateBoxes?
2. If so, what effective number of people (seated together in a hall) do you think the different TP-Link TL-MR3040 wireless router style PirateBoxes could handle?
