Problem DNSMASQ
December 14, 2016 03:27PM
Hello,

I'm trying to install the Piratebox on a PC NUC.
It appears that I apparently have a problem with DNSMASQ because when I type the command :
/opt/piratebox/init.d/piratebox start
I have a fail for the output :
Setting up wlp2s0 (which is our wlan0)
* Starting dnsmasq

The name of the network appears for the computers that want to connect but no one can connect to it.
I tried everything, do a dnsmasq stop before starting the piratebox...

Do you have an idea ?
Sorry if my questions are not relevant, I'm new to PirateBox winking smiley !

Thank you in advance !

[The message that I receive when I start the PirateBox is :

Hi,
the script errors are known and aren't affecting dnsmasq functionality.

As your configuration has a predictable network name (not wlan0), did you adjust piratebox.conf to reflect this? Did you change the dnsmasq_interface paramter to the wlan name?

best regards
