Manual Piratebox Install: Cannot Satisfy Dependencies

i'm trying to follow the directions for a manual install of piratebox on a TP-Link TL-WDR3500. so i upload the OpenWRT firmware (Barrier Breaker 14.07) from here, and follow the steps, but i get stuck on the extendRoot-piratebox install:

$ opkg -d ext install extendRoot-piratebox

results in the error "Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for extendroot-piratebox: php5-mod-http". (i also tried with Chaos Calmer 15.05, and got even *more* unmet dependencies related to php5).

how can i resolve these dependencies?

Long story short: Only AA is supported.

You MAY try the development packages, which should work on ChaosCalmer (but may have other issues).

thanks. unfortunately Attitude Adjustment is not available for this router.

any tips on how to use the development packages? not sure if i should add the URL you provided to opkg.conf, or try installing them individually, or what?
