TP-Link M5360

At the moment i'm using a MR3040 because of its build in battery, but its lifetime is about 4-5 hours, which is too short.
TP link newest 4G Router has an built in powerbank with 5200mAh, which has up to 17hours uptime... And an LCD , and i love displays grinning smiley

I think the pirateBox should work on it, but then there is a not used LCD, maybe there is someone with the knowledge and time to work on this.... ( sadly its beyond my knowledge, the time is there...)

Oh, that is nice! It has an inbuild SD Card slot.

but a first check in openwrt forms doesn't look that promising sad smiley

edit: I'm ordering one and we will see...

Any progress on finding out if the M5360 is a viable option? Would like to build a piratebox, and the extended battery life for equal cost makes this seem very attractive. That is, if PB has any chance of running on this box.

I bought one, opended it... tested the binaries for some hints and sent it to a hardware hacker, who is working on it. The problem is, that it is a qualcom chip, that is closed source sad smiley

Unfortunately no progress update sad smiley sad smiley
