peerCDN on PirateBox?

I just recently stumbled upon this:
[peercdn.com]

The idea is that thanks to a simple 19 KB javascript file, resources can be served through a p2p network composed of the site's visitors, thus reducing the load on the server.

I was wondering if this could be relevant for the PirateBox? Could it help the rather weak MR3020 serve pages faster / to more users?
I do realize that it may not support sharing over LAN yet, but that being said, it is still in beta, so things can still evolve.

The second problem would be the anonymity. I don't know exactly how anonymous users are over a p2p network... ( I guess they would be anonymous, but not invisible?)

That being said, what do you guys think?

Interesting. I think it is an interesting development and maybe a good improvement everywhere.

But as you already pointed out:

a) how does the peer search work?
b) What runs on the backend ?
c) What happens in case of a lost peer

....

And you have to consider, that it may have an impact on mesh-infrastructure as well.

All these things are no "no". I only started to think about it.

And last point: Is it open source / licence-fee-free ??? it i a company behind.

good finding!
