Is TP-LINK TL-MR3040 V2.4 compatible with OpenWRT and PB firmware?

I've been meaning to build a PB and I've settled on the TP-LINK TL-MR3040; I've found a v2.4 and I'm wondering if it is compatible with the software or not. If it's not, I'll pick up a GL.iNet GL-AR150 instead.
