Hello,
since the gl.inet gl-ar150 is offically supported by openwrt
See: [dev.openwrt.org]

i´m wondering if u could provide a updated profile / target file to compile piratebox for the gl-ar150?

See the backport files [github.com]
and [dev.openwrt.org]

The gl-ar seems to have 256kb u-boot instead of 64kb but it has the ar71x chip so i think it would be possible to create a target for the gl-ar150?

yes, I'm looking at the progress in the openwrt-dev mailing list as well, and I think a backport should be do-able.
I pinged [github.com] the author for that..

I made the pull request for that fix against our "owner" of the backported stuff: [github.com]

If he does not react until next week, I need to make the imagebuilder for myself. I try to avoid it, because our tools are relying on FriedZombies work and I need to rewrite things to get it working with different URLs and so on.

FriedZombie took over the work including the 1043ND version3, and he did already compile things... I'm waiting on further feedback, unfortunately he hasn't uploaded the latest imagebuilder yet

Today, I uploaded a beta firmware for the new gl150 including the pre-version of 1.0.7 of PirateBox.
Unfortunately, there is no factory-update firmware. So I'm not quite sure, if that will work like expected. If you can test it? Would be cool..

The usual upgrade procedure should work.

Hi all!
DO NOT USE THE IMAGES UNTIL I POST AGAIN!

I just found, that there is an error in one of the boot scripts, that make the system hang during boot..

You need serial access to recover!

I installed it, it works mostly. Only it has kept the wifi password from the orginal firmware, and I cant telnet in to setup root password -that is on a linux box hooked straight up, and a windows box with putty. At a loss as to what to do.

its a nice little router! Hope to get it working soon.

Edit --- also I tried failsafe mode, pressing the reset button during boot and getting the rapid lights but still no telnet sad smiley

Hi Matthias, i´ve tested the image.
hold the reset button a few seconds and flashed with u-boot.

works fine, telnet works and wifi was not password protected.

only problem i´ve discovered so far the disk usage isnt working

@lostlogan, your problem is maybe, that you ticked "keep settings", which is the reason for your mess. It is possible, that the failsafe port is the WAN port and not LAN, please double check this.
Do a clean reflash out of the failsafe to tidy that situation up
