halt command not working

I just updated my MR3020 to the latest version. Now the halt and poweroff commands no longer do anything. When I enter either command I do not get any errors but nothing seems to happen.
Anyone know a fix for this?

Do you mean, the halt & shutdown does not work right after reflash? This is expected, you need to run 
reboot -f
If that does not work, powercycle it.
