Current Trunk-Image situation

Why adjust the version number? it doesn't seem to care, also it matches the revision AA is at if you checkout the source.
Also the newer release of AA include a newer opkg and fw3 maybe thats why?. it is alo the reason I feature two AA downloads on the v0.1 release:

Image builder AA with the older fw2 and opkg618 packages to make it work with the stable PirateBox release
image builder AA

What I did understand so far and please correct me if i'm wrong :

# PBX version 1.0 has the VERSION_TAG PBX_Image_2.0 in the custom image (also present in the image from the stable ar71xx_AA folder)

# PBX verstion 2.0 (auto installer) has the VERSION_TAG PBX_auto_Image_2.1 (also present in the image from the beta auto folder)

Anyway I rebuild the PBX version 2.0/PBX_auto_image_2.1 with the INSTALL_TARGET option (also it did install hapily without specifying it while testing the image and auto installer)
the new build is against the AA-with-installer branch.

The firstime I build the PBX 2.0 / PBX_auto_Image_2.1 I used the piratebox-default-imageboard because that one was also used to create the current downloadable images from the beta directory.

Google drive folders:

# PBX 2.0 / PBX_auto_Image_2.1 (PBX beta branch with the auto installer)

Yes, then we should add some kind notice that in case of issue, we can figure out if it is your image or the normal AA image (and then point the user to your image).
In my opinion it is essentional to know what is running.

And yes, you got the overview of the different images correctly.
To be honest, for PirateBox, you don't need the install target while building the image, because I doesn't need additional packages beside the box-installer and usb-stuff (compared to install-target librarybox)

piratebox-default-imageboard is obsolete, afaik. I think I merged it into the named AA-with-installer branch.
If you want to, you can do a pull request for the other two changes.

Ahhh you are tooo fast.
That first banner version was what i thought, but you should add the 0.1 from you github to it, to point ppl to update their firmware
