OK, you basically only need to fetch the file listing page from your app and parse that. So, phone connects to wifi, app calls this URL => From there you can simply parse the filename, filezize, mime type and URL of the file Although a small API would be cool for that,...by stylesuxx - PirateBox OpenWrt
I interpreted the question in the way if it is possible to have an Image gallery on the front page. If that is the question, technically, yes that would be possible. There are a lot of JavaScript image galleries out there, they would only need to access the file folder and the client does the rest. If this is what you are looking for, let me know. I had something similar in mind and could hacby stylesuxx - PirateBox OpenWrt
Can you elaborate your use case a little bit? Which information do you want to acquire from the piratebox exactly? Or do you want to build an app to run *ON* the PirateBox?by stylesuxx - PirateBox OpenWrt
Images for all the Raspberries are available as torrent. Alright, the baby is out, I am closing this. Massive "Thank you!" to all involved. @TheExpertNoob PM me regarding the credits in the README ;-)by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Interesting - lets see how this board adapts. I guess you got it from kickstarter, right now they are taking pre orders for shipping in June 2016...by stylesuxx - Pi(rate)Box - unofficial images
You can take a look at the RPi repo and how we do it there. If you find an arch rootfs for your platform, you can simply change that in the build chain and you are good to go.by stylesuxx - Mods and Themes
OK, sounds good, basically we only need to comment out or comment in the driver. I will adapt it this way. Some of the tools are not in the right place, a couple of the scripts should be in the piratebox scripts repo. I added them to the RPi repo, since it is easier for testing and making quick changes without having to touch two repositories, I planned to merge that stuff into the other repoby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Hey Lars, most of us are working, so our time is limited too, but everyone who helps is an asset. The more, the merrier ;-) More people => more testing => better quality => faster release cycles This is good info about the HW clock, what do you think about making a topic and explaining what to do in simple steps, including your script, we could then move it to the mods section andby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
The hostapd config is copied from /prebuild/hostapd/configs depending on the attached stick, you can make your changes there.by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Thank you Matthias, added this mounting options to the script. We might also have solved the Chat issue, but Matthias and I were making educated guesses because we can not reproduce it, so to all people with the Chat issues, what browsers are you using ? Is this reproducable every time you boot, or only on first boot? edit: Ahhh, you meant the sudo command in troubleshooting, I just fixed tby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
This is the repo you are looking for ;-)by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Awesome, good info there. Will look into all of this in the evening :-) Matthias, maybe we could schedule a chat session for 9pm today?by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
bradgillap did you also expand the share to USB, did this work for you without any problems? Do you see any messages in the Browsers debug console when the Chat fails to update? With which version are you testing RPi1 or RPi2 ? I have experienced different behavior with different phones, sometimes, even if I am connected via phone, it prefers the mobile network over the wifi network, becauseby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Chatbox was not working after mounting USB I guess? Need to add a check to only move the files if mounting worked.by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Latest Build RPi 1 Latest Build RPi 2 I'd appreciate if anyone could take them for a last spin...by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
For the next release I want to build new hostapd for RPi 1. I added a custom build for 8188 and 8192 to RPi 2 and both chipsets are now covered by this one hostapd. We will see how this works out, and if the results are good, I want to build them for RPi 1 too. I would also like to see Checksums for all the images, just to give another layer of security, although this is also a topic for Openby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Build a new version of hostapd for the RPi2 this version supports 8188e* and 8188c*. For now I will only put it in the RPi2 image. If it turns out, that this is working good, we can rebuild it for the next version for RPi1 too :-) Currently building new Images, will test and upload those as soon as they are done...by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Just found out, that I will have to build the hostapd packages for RPi2 - thought we could use the same as for RPi, but this does not seem to be the case. Matthias, did you by any chance document anywhere how to build those? Already built and added proftpd and start-stop-daemon. Only missing parts are the hostapd packages. Then we are good to go I'd say :-)by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
My Checklist is very generic I think, shouldn't be too much work to adapt it for the OpenWRT build ;-)by stylesuxx - PirateBox OpenWrt
Short update: Imageboard should be auto activated when the initial board configuration is invoked. I now added a script to help with configuring the USB share. Also added a new step to the MOTD. Added credits to the README. I could not reproduce the minidlna error, are you sure you invoked the command with sudo? Disk usage is not working for me either when moving the files to the USB sby stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
But you could join testing the new RC => This has an image for RPi 2 and we need testers for those.by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
I understand that you do not want the images to differ too much. Just collecting ideas here. I thought that a lot of ideas will not regard the RPi exclusively - so we will need to fine tune that before starting implementation. With the platform information I feel similar, not on by default but cool idea anyway.by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
It was with the Glinet Router, I just tried it out again,.... I still get that error, but here is the kicker: I only get it for foo.com, not if I use example.com or any other Domain,....by stylesuxx - PirateBox (General)

What do you mean by "not all files work"?by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Alright, I finally managed to upload the images (have crappy upload here), you can find them here => for everyone. Use piratebox_rpi2_* for Raspberry Pi Model 2, for all other models use piratebox_rpi_*.by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
We can pull PHP from the repos, in fact I think we even do pull some PHP related stuff,... which packages would you exactly want to see?by stylesuxx - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
