Hi, this doesn't seem that the box hasn't finished or even started the installation. Also it seems you are following an old installation guide, because in the latest version you do not need to manually configure config.pl anymore. Ah, it is not that easy to exchange the banner image that easy. The reason is, that the imageboard is rendered as static HTML on disk until something changes on the board. Only with that regeneration a changed configuration will be put in place. I can only think of a shell script, which works under the control of cron (every x Minutes) and replaces the banner image physically. Matthias

Nope, that can't be in direct relation. First of all, how did you perform the reboot? Did you perform a proper shutdown? If not, then your changes weren't written to the SD Card (takes up to 5 minutes to save some SDCard life). If you performed a proper reboot, which commands did you perform? Which files did you change? Can you verify the root filesystem is not read-only? And remember, this is the subforum for OpenWrt ba

I am pretty sure there must be the mime.types config, where you need to disable the extension to force the browser to take it as a normal download. (Remember, mime.types must be edited with vi).

The UI is different. LibraryBox is collecting statistics (Visitors per day, download statistics). LibraryBox has some Config-Files on the USB stick. LibraryBox supports -sort of- Master-Slave FTP synchronization across Mesh networks. The directory listing is different as well, because the statistics must be displayed dynamically. Hi, can you both post the output of the command dmesg You might want to write the output to a file sudo sh -c 'dmesg > /opt/piratebox/share/Shared/dmesg.txt' Then you can download it from PirateBox page. The output is needed to verify if there is an issue with the partitions. best regards Matthias

Hi, no that command will cause the issue :-( The reason is an integer overflow in the calculation, which render the difference between now and 1970 as something weired. Set the date/time to the beginning of the month, after that try to push the refresh button on the frontpage. If that does not work, you might want to have a look at /opt/piratebox/tmp/break.log /opt/piratebox/tmp/error.l

Hi, do you run the piratebox with an external USB stick? If so, please take it to the windows system and run a filesystem check. That sounds like the usb stick is mounted on PirateBox in read-only mode for *some* reason. best regards Matthias

Hi Ali, in your case: a) You removed the external_fs folder, which causes the installer to abort. b) the auto flash did not work for some reason. My recommendation is: put a fresh copy of the install folder to the usb stick (delete the old on first) and put a fresh downloaded .bin file from our website to the auto_flash folder to trigger the reflash. Also remove the install.log at
