Our shutdown script is here: It basically calls sudo halt. The trick to make it work is to give user nobody (the user that runs the webserver) permission to run halt with sudo permissions. Run this on the Pi: sudo visudo And add this line: nobody ALL=NOPASSWD:/sbin/halt Of course this means anyone with wifi access to the Pi can shut it down. We recently had a project week at school, which means students from different disciplines (graphic design, musical instrument design, fashion, media arts, ...) collaborate on projects during one week. I organized a workshop on offline networks, and one of the results was Pirate Radius, a mashup of the Pirate Box and Pi FM projects. Model: TP-LINK WR710N, EU, V 1.2 Image: Box was working fine for a couple of days, but I can't access it anymore over wifi. Symptons: - After powering up, the LED comes on for +- 1 second. No flashing. LED then goes off, and stays off; it doesn't come back on. I actually don't remember if it always did that or not. - Can connect over ethernet/SSH.
