Piratebox and 200 people

Hi,

We'd like use Piratebox in a big event that includes presentations,workshops and panels to share pdf etc. files, to ask the panelists questions and also make comments via chatbox. However the event will host at least 200 people.

So my questions are, “Is it possible for this amount of people or devices to connect Piratebox without disconnecting and how can we solve it?

Does anybody have any opinions or ideas?

1st you have to increase the dhcp lease range for that amount of ppl. But for that, you need edit the network configuration and the piratebox.conf

personally, I have no experience, but according the feedback I got on another thread, the chat slows down alot, if a bunch of ppl are posting stuff to the box. So if really 200 ppl want to give feedback, I suggest using a combination of a Pi and a router.
