Connect piratebox the home LAN

Hi! I have a question to ask. I have a piratebox with tp-link mr3040, is perfect. At home I also have a data server and would like to make sure to connect the server with piratebox to transfer data via iphone.
example:
server I have a video that I would like to transfer the pendrive piratebox without using the PC but using the iphone.
How can I make sure that my network recognizes the piratebox?

Connect to your home server and download the movie to your phone. Then disconnect and instead connect to the PirateBox and upload the movie.

Or simply turn the PB off and remove the USB stick and copy the movie to the right folder on the stick.
