PS: this fucking opkg in opkg will be removed with v0.7 of piratebox

In fact, i've not installed it with the URL because putting the file on the USB stick only doesnt work.
So have you got a command to delete the mesh package? So i can reinstall it cleanly

no, this is the mesh package.
But the Forban-Link is another package.... so please reinstall forban....

opkg remove piratebox-forban

It still doesnt work... Have i to modify the /etc/opkg.conf ? To match with stable.openwrt.piratebox.de/ar71xx/packages ?

I installed a fresh box yesterday and it worked for me.
I used.

[*] piratebox-0.6.3 from piratebox.aod-rpg.de directly
[*] mesh-0.2.8 from the mesh-test folder
[*] the latest forban 0.34.3 from piratebox.aod-rpg.de

If i had the skills. I would totally help. but i'm a noob...

I haven't dwnld it from piratebox.aod-rpg.de, but from the OpenWRT directly... I'll try again
EDIT: I tryed to edit the network configuration file to reinstall forban but it return the following error:

In case of this (re)write error, I need the complete dmesg output to see where the problem is...

I have the mesh stuff installed on 2 devices.
I tried the 3rd on my WDR3500 3 different times but was unsuccessful in getting "PB mesh" to show in my available networks.
However on my other 2 devices "PB mesh" does show in my available networks but when i connect to PB mesh i get an error page.

I had to use the wget command b/c moving the .ipk file to the usb directly would not work.
also for the forban install command i had to change the link address from xxxxxxx_.2_all.ipk to .3_all.ipk

No, you are not able to connect to PB_MESH via any other client. This network speaks only "B.A.T.M.A.N. (advanced)".

What was the messages ?

basically, file does no exist on both.
I will redo it when i have the time and post the exact message for you to see.

Did you recognize that the forban stuff moved to piratebox.aod-rpg.de (without folder) ?

the stuff seems like it installed correctly. The problem i have is that when i try to search forban for files none show up also the boxes don't really connect to one another but then again this is my first attempt at using mesh with anything so i could possibly misunderstand what exactly is suppose to happen and how i suppose to connect.

Damavox, to get an idea what this issue is, I need alot more information than those few lines.

1. complete output of the following commands:

   dmesg
   cat /etc/config/network
   cat /etc/config/wireless
   cat /etc/config/firewall
   ps

2. Then I need the exact package versions for every box

   opkg list-installed

3. And then I need the following BATMAN output from every box:

  batctl o
