Help please. Followed instructions but laptop doesn't load bootable usb?

Hi Piratebox people

I am a total newbie with this and just setting up and trying to learn.

I have followed the instructions on this thread [forum.piratebox.cc] but seem to be getting no where.

Everything went onto my usb fine and i have changed the configuration in the BIOS to load usb first. (There was 3 options for usb so i just put them all above my hdd). When i saved and reboot, my laptop just loads windows instead?

I tried in Legacy mode instead just to see if it was detecting the usb on startup and it was but it said no operating system found.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, i know i am probably missing something very obvious.

daemon tools says there is no bootable files when writing to the usb

Hey protestpirate,

Try using this : [www.plop.at]
Burn it on a cd and then select in your Bios boot from CD.
When the bootloader starts, select with your arrow keys 'Usb'.
It will automaticly boot from usb (if inserted of course )
