Failed setting up interface

Hi,
I am trying to build a debian piratebox computer for my friend with his old laptop (windows 7). I am using Debian 8.0 on virtualbox. I followed the instructions step by step, but whenever i try to start piratebox it says [FAIL] Failed setting up interface Failed. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Did yo manage to find out the problem? It would be nice to have some feedback here for the rest of the forum.
What network adapter do you have? Some cannot be used in AP mode.
