Home page spam refreshes after adding usb storage, any help?

Recently added usb storage to my RPI2 PirateBox but now when connecting to piratebox.lan the home page begins to spam refresh making the page almost unusable. I was wondering if I could get some help on this issue, I'm sure it is a simple fix I just have no idea how. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

That usually happens when you get a hidden 404 (file not found) error, the box loads the refresh - it redirects you to i.e. the index page and then you get the 404 with the redirect again.

Maybe you made a mistake with adding the USB disk or in modifying the start-page.
