Pi2, can connect but nothing happens.

So i have my pi2, i got the edimax wifi dongle to work (i can connect to the pi), but when i try to access the pirate box via the browser, nothing happens, i just get the cant find page error like its not connected to the internet. My experience with linux distros is very limited, im a noob lol, so any help would be appreciated.

Can you try to find out if your computer got an IP address from the PirateBox?

so i can connect, but it doesnt seem to be giving me an ip address.

Can you verify if the hostap prepares a wlan0 device or something else?
