Hi,
yes, but you won't have a preinstalled desktop like on the full raspbian image.

not preinstalled? is it possible to have a desktop running along side having the piratebox running as well. I can't quite think of a reason for having a desktop on the box, but I'm sure I could come up with something.

yes, of course it is possible to run a full desktop along with PirateBox.
We use such a stripped down image to save bandwith and online storage.
