Hello,
When i do in putty

[alarm@alarmpi ~]$ sudo /opt/piratebox/rpi/bin/usb_share.sh

rpi return to me this message:

You seem to have no valid vfat partition for a USB share.
Please make sure you have a USB thumb drive attached with a single vfat partition.

My usbstick 32 Go is all new and formated in fat 32
1.does the pb come from rpi or from my stick ?
2; how can i format my usbstick in vfat i've no this option in windows
rq : i've not this pb before an idea ?

Hi,
can you please post the output of the following commands:

sudo  fdisk -l /dev/sda
sudo file -sk /dev/sda1

i've these answers

[alarm@alarmpi ~]$ sudo fdisk -l /dev/sda
fdisk: cannot open /dev/sda: No such file or directory

[alarm@alarmpi ~]$ sudo file -sk /dev/sda1
/dev/sda1: cannot open `/dev/sda1' (No such file or directory)

that does not look like your USB stick is detected....
