Thank you for your response Sir Matthias, I reinstalled piratebox and the save function is now working. Regards, Snipyby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt
Yes Sir Matthias, I usually use the escape key and then :wq. I think the problem is with openwrt. Maybe I just need to reinstall piratebox again. Thank you Sir for your quick response. Best regards, Snipyby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt
Hello, I just wanna ask why can't I save my edited configurations like on /etc/config/wireless and /etc/config/network on putty? I'm using vi commands such as i - edit and :wq - save and quit. When I tried to enter after input of :wq nothing happens and it does not go to root@r2awa:. What is says is something like "no changes made..." and "q: overrides" What coulby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt

Hello, I would just like to ask if it would be possible to install a Transmission interface to the box to download torrent files directly to the shared folder? Thanks. Regards, Snipyby sniper_eyes - Mods and Themes
Update: I tried to quickly type tpl in the serial interface when I plugged in the power and tried to type the commands in the tutorial even though I couldn't see the text in a normal way. I've managed to stopped the router from rebooting and observed a lan connection and I can see the wireless name of the router. The only problem is that I cannot access the router's IP address wby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt
Thank you Sir Matthias for your response. I tried to check the connection settings as per your instruction and it seems okay . I purchased three (3) of these usb-uart adapters, hooked one on each of my bricked MR3020 routers, both of them shown the same response on the serial interface (sort of webdings text, distorted). Maybe there is a problem with my power connection relative to the adpaters iby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt
I'm having problems resurrecting my two (2) dead MR3020 routers using serial (usb-uart). I recently bought a usb-uart (CH340 type) to try to repair my bricked routers and follow the instructions on this site . The problem is that on my putty screen it does not display the same contents as on the instructions but like webdings or distorted texts . And this is the CH340 serial that I purchasedby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt

Hello, @Andrew B, Just wanna ask where did you download the file for samba-36 server. It seems that it's not already available on the openwrt site. I reallly want to install this. Thank you. Snipyby sniper_eyes - Mods and Themes

I haven't tried it yet with kareha Sir Nargren. What I was thinking was since the webpage redirect would be on the chatbox maybe it's also useful to have these hyperlinks automatically generated when a new file is uploaded or after the box has rebooted. I've tried also the another mod with the slideshow with hyperlinks on the photos but it takes a lot of bandwidth due to the automaby sniper_eyes - Mods and Themes

Hello, I tried to apply your theme, the only problem is that the Menu button (for mobile) and Thanks button is not working. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you Snipy Update: I've managed to fix it by editing manually the /opt/piratebox/www/index.html since the index file is based on 1.0.5 and the current index is 1.0.7by sniper_eyes - Mods and Themes

Hello, I have an old TP-Link MR3220 version 1.2 and I am planning to run a piratebox on it. The only problem that I have is that there is no customized stable openwrt for my MR3220 on the HowTo's Section (http://stable.openwrt.piratebox.de/auto/). May I request a copy of this customized stable openwrt for my MR3220 so that I can run piratebox on it. Thank you so much. Regards, Snipyby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt

Hello, I just wanna ask if there's a way to insert hyperlinks of uploaded files in the chatbox? Thank you Regards, Snipyby sniper_eyes - Mods and Themes
Sir Matthias, So do you mean in order for the minidlna to automatically scan files and avoid termination, I need to convert my .mp4 video format files to other video formats? If so, do you have a suggested video format and how large the video file must be? I've seen the hand brake video converter on the How To's section but I've no idea on what is the best video format that workby sniper_eyes - PirateBox OpenWrt

Hello, I just have a problem with my new PBox (MR3020) it seems that it doesn't automatically rescan for new media files whenever I add them (even when the MiniDLNA is ENABLED at StartUp). What I do is I need to manually stop the MiniDLNA service, delete the database files then start the MiniDLNA service and that is the only time when the files are scanned. @sneakybaboon Thank you for your time answering my questions Regards Snipyby sniper_eyes - PirateBox (General)
@sneakybaboon Hello, Thank you again for your reply. The steps that you've mentioned is clear. My point hear is that, how is it possible to perform the said steps if no data connection (lan) is observed from the PBox itself and to the connection to the computer? The utp cable that I'm using is in good working condition and only 1.5 ft in length. Also another question, when youby sniper_eyes - PirateBox (General)
@sneakybaboon Hi, Thanks for your reply, sorry if I've PM you it's just because my PBox is around 2 years dead and I'm looking for a solution without using a serial cable. I'm actually using a flat utp cable 1.5 ft in length. Is your method applicable to what I'm encountering? I've uploaded a video of the endless rebooting of my PBox.
