I'm a bit confused. It only saves the time if you run that function cogdog used /opt/piratebox/bin/timesave.sh /opt/piratebox/conf/piratebox.conf save This means it always sets the time from that moment on startup, yes? But I thought this script should save the time every x minutes automatically.by Smipes - PirateBox News and Events

Hi I'd like to use "smart" thumbnails, but when I turn off stupid thumbnailing, image posting doesn't work at all anymore. use constant STUPID_THUMBNAILING => 0; # Bypass thumbnailing code and just use HTML to resize the image. STUPID, wastes bandwidth. (1: enable, 0: disable) Do I need to change something else or does it just not work on OpenWrt?by Smipes - PirateBox OpenWrt
So I've tried this out like in the guide and I think it turned out nice. I bought the TP-Link TL-ANT2408CL antenna and an adapter cable I cut of the small ending there and soldered it to the board. Just had to drill a hole so I could put the connector there.by Smipes - Mods and Themes

Extract the install_piratebox.zip to the USB drive again, plug it in the box and turn the box on. After that, follow step 7 of "Auto-Installation" again.by Smipes - PirateBox (General)
Hi, has anyone here tried adding an external antenna to the MR3020? I've found this guide What would be a good antenna? Would it be useful? The box may have a wide range, but I'm afraid the client won't have the power to connect.by Smipes - Mods and Themes
I noticed this too. Going to piratebox.lan/Shared/ after that Forum links to piratebox.lan/Shared/board/ and About links to piratebox.lan/Shared/#about Those addresses don't exist ofcourse, so it just redirects to piratebox.lanby Smipes - PirateBox (Development)
Take the one with your routers name in it. I would take the newer versionby Smipes - PirateBox OpenWrt

Mh, that's weird. There is no "timesave_file" root@piratebox:~# date Thu Jan 1 00:03:55 UTC 1970 root@piratebox:~# cat /opt/piratebox/share/timesave_file cat: can't open '/opt/piratebox/share/timesave_file': No such file or directory root@piratebox:~# cat /etc/rc.local # Put your custom commands here that should be executed once # the system init finishedby Smipes - PirateBox OpenWrt
Hi, so I have trouble getting the timesave to work. I build my box on wednesday as explained in the guide. Only problem I have is at point 3 under Post-Installation Quote3. Activate the “timesave functionality” once: /etc/init.d/piratebox timesave After that it says QuotePlacing Timerecover on Startup Activating cron-service... done But when I turn off my box and later turn it oby Smipes - PirateBox OpenWrt
