Matthias, I am using your old piratebox with imageboard scripts which run off perl.. It seems all new development is happening to droopy.py... and for the life of me I can't get lighttpd to execute python scripts.. I uploaded the latest version of droopy.py to cgi-bin and added the following to the lighttpd.conf: cgi.assign = ( ".pl" => "/usr/bin/perl&by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)

1) I've got piratebox loaded on both a tl-mr3020 and a p4 2ghz laptop. Both become unusable (for other clients) when a transfer is going on. Perhaps we can come up with a way to scale connections.. load ballancing.. etc. 2) I'm not a web developer.. but perhaps we could petition some people in that community to work on enhanced software.. maybe with directory support.. and communitby Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)

Glad to brighten your day! So what files are needed? I assume I'm placing them in cgi-bin.... And what code needs to be added to droopy.pl?by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
Hey Matthias.. I just got a system set up with your lighttpd and imageboard mods... I was wondering how hard (and what modifications need to be made) to set the chat box back on the homepage.. I know it's kind of redundant, but it's nice to have. BTW: thanks for the scripts and docs.by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
Yeah... I was doing that.. Dolt that I am, I realised that I had hardwired the DNS server addresses in on the adapter. Switched them off.. and everything is working great. Thanks for all the help!by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
127.0.0.1 piratebox localhost 192.168.1.1 piratebox Seem fine? I'm receiving responses via 'ping piratebox' from within the router. I can't access the box via the browser unless i do 192.168.1.1 for the main page or 192.168.1.1:8001 for the shares. How is the box resolving names from outside the box?by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
Ok.. I did the update and firmware flashed fine.. Did the config and the webpage comes up as 192.168.1.1 When I click to upload, it appears to send something but the piratebox:8001 is not resolving and I get a page load error. Any ideas? Also, any ideas on how to add the shoutbox functionality? Thanksby Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)

Hopefully I won't run into any updating problems. Does the chat feature work correctly on this router?by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
Ok.. I just got my router today, but I probably won't have time to set it up until this weekend. I was wondering if the chat feature works... and also whether it's feasible to incorporate Matthias' mods... such as the forum and imageboard on lighttpd?by Gandalf42 - PirateBox (General)
