Chat on Chrome fails when not accessed via piratebox.lan

When accessing the piratebox with Chrome and another URL than piratebox.lan I get an AJAX error =>

XMLHttpRequest cannot load [www.foo.com]. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin '[foo.com&]; is therefore not allowed access.

This should be fixed by allowing all origins with lighttpd:

setenv.add-response-header = ( "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" => "*" )

stylesuxx. Strange! NEVER saw this before, on which kind of PirateBox did you encounter this? Your latest RPi + PirateBox version ? Need more info

i just tested this with www.google.com, www.hotmail.com. www.piratebay.ca and even www.foo.bar. I didnt have issues.
I only get the ajax error if I switch back to my regular AP and not PirateBox.

It was with the Glinet Router, I just tried it out again,.... I still get that error, but here is the kicker: I only get it for foo.com, not if I use example.com or any other Domain,....
