Hello i have a question i have a Website of my own that uses a database. Now i can run it locally on my pc with xampp that has apache, php, mysql on it and be offline but still be able to view the pages and database in my own network. Now I'm still new to the whole priatebox on raspberry pi. But my question is it possible to upload my site with the database and still be able to access it through priatebox setup like I'm currently doing now Can it support php and mysql for my webpages?

Hello i saw you could use php in the active PHP

This mod requires PirateBox 1.1.

PHP should be ready to run. To activate PHP on PirateBox, you need to edit /opt/piratebox/conf/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf and remove the # in front of the last line: #include “/opt/piratebox/conf/lighttpd/fastcgi-php.conf”

And this is great first step for me. But still can't find nothing on mysql can someone please help me out?

I tested mysql on the OpenWRT version of piratebox in the past, it was slow. It should work on the Raspberry Pi version. Install and set up the Arch Linux version of MySQL wit h the Raspberry Pi connected to the internet.

PirateBox Installs:
2x Zsun's (both testing, one with serial interface)
A5-V11 (mostly for OpenWRT testing DIY)
2x RPi Zero's
(one active in car 24/7, gets a lot of hits at Walmart, movie theaters and the mall)
2x RPi3's (both home servers, one Ubuntu custom install along side a ton of other services)
1x RPi2 (currently work server)

Thank you Matthias for that. I'm not in no way a linux person or a programmer. I do love playing with linux learning new things. But not a programmer I love sticking with hardware and making things work smiling smiley
