Just wondering if the mr3020 can handle php and say monkeyboard forum, It uses sqlite so it shouldn't be to resource hoggish but i was just wondering because it's already running lightpd and droopy so would php be to hard on it you think?by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
Post your piratebox themes you have made in here, I want to see how cool we can make this thing. Here is one i modified:by skilo - PirateBox (General)
Piratebox should work on any router that has at least one usb port and supports OpenWrt.by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
Might be a cool idea if your piratebox has internet access otherwise it would be sort of pointless.by skilo - PirateBox (General)
EDIT* Nevermind everything is working ok now, You just have to copy the files from inside OpenWrt. I Modified Nargrens theme a bit, Check it out here:by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
Nevermind, I must have corrupted the www directory somehow, I just copied nagrens pb.img over to the usb and now it seems to be working ok.by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
Well i mounted the pb image in linux and uploaded my new index and css files to /www/ but now when i try to load the page the piratebox just keeps redirecting like it's stuck in a never ending redirect cycle lol. I checked error logs and it says this: 1970-01-01 00:00:55: (log.c.166) server started 1970-01-01 00:00:55: (server.c.968) WARNING: unknown config-key: url.access-deny (igby skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt

I have been wondering how you go about customizing the web UI on the openwrt version of PB, I tried editing the index.html page but PB seems to just ignore it or automatically generate it's own someway. I did manage to change the web UI on the Raspberry pi version though but it seems not as easy as on the openwrt version.by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
So i have been playing around with the piratebox and testing it with different browsers and i have found that the shoutbox does not work well with internet explorer, If you type a message into it never shows up in the box. I personally don't care because i never use internet explorer but a lot of people still do (unfortunately).by skilo - PirateBox (General)
Well so far i edited /etc/hosts and added 127.0.0.1 msftncsi.com localhost . 192.168.1.1 msftncsi.com It seems to be working somewhat, I have varying results with it, Sometimes i connect and it doesn't give the error message and sometimes it does, I think this is because windows does 2 verification methods to detect the WAN IP, The first is look for the ncsi.txt file and the other iby skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
The main problem with running piratebox on the pi is that you have to use wireless usb adapters, Most usb and pcie cards for laptops are nowhere near as powerful as your wireless routers. A typical off the shelf wifi router can do 100mw of tx power where the typical usb and pcie card can only do 31mw of tx power. So you would need to either connect the pi to a wifi router via ethernet cablby skilo - Raspberry Pi(rate)Box
Which file do i need to edit? /etc/hosts/ or dnsmaq.config ?by skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
So i was just wondering if there is a way to fix the windows error message "connection unsuccessful" Windows always displays this message when it detect the AP has no internet connectivity? I was thinking maybe windows must try to ping microsoft.com upon connecting to an AP to determine internet connectivity, If this is the case then maybe we can enter in a dnsmaq rule to tell the wiby skilo - PirateBox OpenWrt
